TITLE: Dear typesetters
DESCRIPTION: We frequently had to apologize to our typesetters, whom we kept up late at night for no apparent reason other than our inability to get stories edited early. All of our stories were typed on foolscap like this, and editing was done with the dullest pencils imaginable. Then the pages were driven out to the printing plant, about 9 miles away. When we got our first fax machine it was very exciting -- it transmitted a page in just 3 minutes!
