Misc. Notes
Somewhere in my notes I had “aged 47 years,” with no attribution. Used to think she was daughter of William and Selena, and Aunt Margaret said so, but in fact she was a daughter-in-law.

Parentage is based on a Carrie Seaman in the M.T. Seaman book appearing with this family. I think the Semon spelling is a mistake.

Misc. Notes
The 1880 census lists Edward, white male, 22, single, butcher living with his parents. Both censuses called him Edward, but his tombstone calls him Edwin. Aunt Margaret called him Uncle Ed. He is Edward in Cora’s obit.

Amsterdam Evening Recorder, Monday, Feb. 25, 1907: “Edward Cath, of Milwaukee, is visiting hs father, William Cath.”

The 1915 census lists Edward Cath, head of household, 24, farmer; Hawley J., son, 16, school. Name must be wrong, age of 24 doesn’t make any sense. Per Aunt Margaret, Hawley and Wesley were brothers. Makes more sense. Also had in the household Eliza M. Moore, servant, 43, housekeeper, and her son Wesley, lodger, 3, "no occupation"

Based on this and Aunt Margaret’s remembrance that Wesley and Hawley were brothers, I’m assigning them to Edward. She said they were “Uncle Ed’s sons”.

Living on his own on Ridge Road in 1930, next to Hiram and Lois King.5
