From Williams Family History: “Eunice J. Williams Peck was born September 17, 1868, died October 16, 1937 and is buried in the North Elba Cemetery in Lake Placid, Essex County, NY. On September 26, 1890 she married Alfred Peck, a farmer and lumberman, who was born in 1863 and died in 1932 at the age of 69 years. The Peck farm in Lake Placid is now the Craig Wood Golf and Country Club and the Peck house still stands -- the home of the golf course overseer. The second husband of Eunice Peck was Willard Washburn. Eunice and Alfred had 9 children (q.v.)....”
111In the 1900 federal census, she gave her birthdate as September 1868, age 31, had been married 9 years. She had had 3 children, 2 of which were still alive. She and her parents were born in New York, and she could read and write.
10 In the 1910 census, she reported that she had had 10 children, and that 7 were still living.
61Was a member of the Grange, evidenced by her signing as part of a committee a memorial notice to William D. Pratt published in the Lake Placid News August 17, 1923.
