Obit from Gram Smith’s clipping box: “Lloyd Goodrich Dead; Found Lying by Road Stillwater -- Lloyd M. Goodrich died unexpectedly last night near his home in Park Ave. as he was returning from Herrick’s Store. he was found by the road near his home by William Sheridan, who was passing by. The Stillwater ambulance was called but Mr. Goodrich was pronounced dead by Dr. John C. O’Brien, Mechanicville. Mr. Goodrich appeared in the best of health when he visited with several friends in the store. He was born in Greenwich in 1904 but moved to Stillwater when a small child. He was employed at the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Mill for 35 years and for the past few years was general foreman of the finishing department. he was a member of the Stillwater Fire Department, the Stillwater Rod and Gun Club and attended the Stillwater United Church. Survivors include his wife, Grace Akin Goodrich; one son, William A. Goodrich, one brother, Lynn Goodrich, all of Stillwater; also nieces, nephews and several cousins....”
