“LUCINDA E. LAPARLE Had Been Resident of Bennington for 23 Years The Death of Mrs. Lucinda E. LaParle, aged 72, occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F.H. Ferguson of Main street late Tuesday night. Mrs. LaParle was born in Putnam, Washington county, N.Y., and had been a resident of Bennington for the last 28 years. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and had taught a Sunday school class for many years. Her life was filled with deeds of devotion and work for others and she will be missed by many friends. Mrs. LaParle is survived by two sisters, Mrs. A.J. Peckham of Stillwater, N.Y. and Mrs. Hiram King of Scotia, N.Y.; four brothers, Asa Goodrich of Chester, N.Y., Major Goodrich of Schuylerville, N.Y., Monroe Goodrich of Troy and William S. Goodrich of Stillwater, N.Y.; and one daughter, Mrs. F.H. Ferguson of Main street...The body will be taken to Greenwich, N.Y. for interment.”
