of Schuylerville, N.Y., per Lucinda’s obit.

In 1880, listed as “bro-in-law” living with “Lottie” and William Hall.24

In 1910, living in Greenwich (Crawford Ave.) The entries are very hard to read. He was with wife Carrie (??), and children Lulu M., Mildred C., Marion D., Harold G., and a daughter “not named”.61

In 1920, living on Burgoyne Street in Schuylerville with wife Carrie, Marion, Harold, and Beatrice. He reported his father was from England, but the censustaker also got his age wrong. He rented, was a miller at a grist mill.3
Spouses
Birthapp 1880
Misc. Notes
In 1910, she had had 5 children, all of which were alive. She had been married 19 years. None of this comports with her reported ages, which could be 50 or 30 in 1910 (very hard to read), and clearly is 39 in 1920, but Major’s age is also wrong there. So she could be a second wife, or she could be lying a lot about her age. Given that she declared she had borne 5 children, I’m going with the latter.
