Misc. Notes
I originally had her as the Clarisa who married Albert Pray and is buried with him in Jay Central Cemetery; this appears to be a mistake.

From Jos. Peck, 1/5/2000: Clarissa M. Peck did not die Oct. 24, 1932 in N. Elba. She did not marry a Pray. Her death record in Wilmington NY town clerk’s office says that she was born on Dec. 20, 1848 and died Nov. 30, 1927 in Wilmington, NY. This info was given by Mrs. Eunice Peck at the time of her death. She is buried next to her first husband John B. Shene in the Jay Central Cemetery. Her 2nd husband Levi R. Howard was buried there also next to his first wife. John B. Shene served in the Civil War so I am requesting his complete pension file from Washington, DC and hopefully all the questions about her will be answered. I will keep you posted on it.

Found at Jay Central Cemetery, near other Pecks (Grovernor, Julia), birthyear on stone.
