Listed in 1892 NYS Census as Ida Peck in Jay. This census wasn’t well written, but it appears that she was a servant to a Ripley, a lawyer. Lived near Adoniram Peck. With her were May (Mary?), Julia, Grovernor (? I couldn’t read the name at all), Alva, Louis, Joshua, and Clark. Clark was her brother-in-law.
39In the 1900 federal census, she was listed as Ida A. Peck in Jay, head of her household. She gave her birthdate as March 1859, her age as 41, and she was widowed. She had had 6 children, all still alive. She and her father were born in Canada, her mother in New York. She reported immigrating in 1865, and had been 35 years in the United States. Her occupation was laundry work. She could read and write, and owned her house free of mortgage. Living with her were Julia, Grover [sic], Alvin, Luois [sic], and Josh [sic].
10In the 1920 census, she was listed as Ida Burbanks, head of household, owned a mortgaged home. She was 60, widowed, and she and her parents had been born in Canada. Living with her were son Alvin and daughter Jula [sic] Peck.
