In the 1900 census, he was living in Jay with wife Celia, 3 children, 5 stepchildren. He was born June 1873, age 26, and had been married 5 years. He was born in New York, his father in Canada, his mother’s place of birth listed as unknown. He was a pulpmaker, could read and write, and rented his house.
10Given their relative ages, I’ve assigned Willie as his brother, rather than his son, as he was recorded in the 1900 census.

OLD NOTES -- no longer valid:
In the 1900 federal census, Celia was the wife of George Duglass. Her age is about the same as Celia Malbone who was married to James Henry Peck. Given that she had five children living with her with the surname Peck (all stepchildren to George Duglass), and that Jos. Peck records James Peck as having married again in 1897, I think this is the same Celia. The situation is slightly unusual, though, and I had had some questions about James Henry Peck (all his dates don’t quite line up from source to source), so this all may be mistaken. Additionally, Jos. Peck now records her as having died in 1893. Is it a coincidence that a Celia and similarly named Pecks all lived with George Duglass?
In the 1900 federal census, Celia was the wife of George Duglass. She gave her date of birth as June 1862, age 37. She had been married 5 years, and had had eight children, all still alive (which calls into question Leita Mae or Laura Bell, if you accept that Willie was not a son but her brother-in-law). She and her mother were born in New York, her father in Canada. She could read and write.
