Shortly after I sent you the information on Clarinda Tender I realized that Annis was a first name and my source wrote Annie and placed Annis in parenthesis which I mistook for a maiden name.  Clarinda's mother was Annis P. Ford.  Her father, Alexis Tender was born in lower Canada.  This information was obtained from The Houghton Genealogy, 1953 an unpublished manuscript by Vivian I. Morgan.
