Misc. Notes
In 1900, Gustavus was living in Greenwich, Washington County, with wife Fannie and brother William. he gave his birthdate as April 1859. He was 41, had been married 10 years, and he and his parents were born in New York.10

In 1920, I believe the same Gustavus Goodrich was living in Norwalk, CT with wife Minnie. He was 61, gave his place of birth as New York, owned his home, and had no occupation. 3

In 1880, I believe he is the “Augustus” listed in the census for Battenville, Greenwich. He was living with his mother, Hannah Jane, and Asa and William.24 He was listed as “working at mill,” presumably the paper mill listed in other entries (now American Tissue?)
Newspaper article
In the Troy Daily Times from Sept. 13, 1899, Gustavus Goodrich is listed as a trial juror selected for the Supreme Court term at Washington County.

In the Troy Daily Times from Oct. 4, 1919, there is a note in the Stillwater section, not sure if it’s this Gustavus or yet another:
Gustavus Goodrich has returned from the South, where he had employment for several months on construction work.

There is a legal notice from The Troy Daily Times in 1914 (date uncertain on scan):
