In 1920, working as a laborer in the paper mill on Cossey Street, Ticonderoga, with wife Katherine and sons Harold and William.3

In 1930, he was renting for $8/month on Fort Road in Ticonderoga with wife Katherine M. and sons Harold R. and William G. He was 37 at his last birthday, had been 23 at first marriage. He reported he had been born in Florida, his parents in Sweden (in 1920, he listed their places of birth as “unknown,” to which “U.S.” was appended.) He was a laborer in “mines”, and was listed as a veteran of “W.W.”5

Harold Ask, the adopted son of Mr. and Mrs. William Graham, was operated on for appendicitis at his home in Factoryville Sunday night. Feb. 8th, Drs. Cummins of Ticonderoga and W.T. Sherman of this place performing the operation successfully. The young man is doing nicely under the care of Miss Power, a trained nurse.186

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ask of Fair Haven, Vt., were guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Graham one night last week. They returned home, taking their little son Raymond with them. The little fellow has been staying at Mr. Graham's the past few weeks.790
