I already had a James Peck in here; I presume this is the same one as the census in 1880. 3-year difference in birthdates between Census and Jos. Peck.
In 1880 he was living right next to Henry S. Johnson, who I suspect of being related to William, and Henry’ son Halsey.
In the 1900 census, he gave a birthdate of July 1859, age 40, and had been married for 3 years. He was a bricklayer, could read and write, and rented his house. He was living with Lucy.
10Apparently owed his father $800, since 1889, at the time of his father’s death. $300 of that was willed to Edgar. Further: “ I give and bequeath to Charles M. Peck of Wilmington, Essex Co., N.Y., James H. Peck of Wilmington, Essex Co., N.Y., Ruth A, Ewing of [Nena], Arizona, Kate A. Vaugn of Peru, Clinton Co., N.Y., the sum of one dollar ($1.00) each to be paid out of the above note mentioned and the balance of the note to be divided equally between Alma J. Johnson of Jay, Essex Co., N.Y., Charlotte A. Van Ornam of Wilmington, Essex Co., N.Y., and Henrietta L. Hewitt of St. Armand, Essex Co., N.Y.”

OLD NOTES -- no longer valid:
In the 1900 federal census, Celia was the wife of George Duglass. Her age is about the same as Celia Malbone who was married to James Henry Peck. Given that she had five children living with her with the surname Peck (all stepchildren to George Duglass), and that Jos. Peck records James Peck as having married again in 1897, I think this is the same Celia. The situation is slightly unusual, though, and I had had some questions about James Henry Peck (all his dates don’t quite line up from source to source), so this all may be mistaken. Additionally, Jos. Peck now records her as having died in 1893. Is it a coincidence that a Celia and similarly named Pecks all lived with George Duglass?
In the 1900 federal census, Celia was the wife of George Duglass. She gave her date of birth as June 1862, age 37. She had been married 5 years, and had had eight children, all still alive (which calls into question Leita Mae or Laura Bell, if you accept that Willie was not a son but her brother-in-law). She and her mother were born in New York, her father in Canada. She could read and write.
