Misc. Notes
See his will under Notes, Last Will. He signed it seven days before his death.

His stone is broken, and the date is completely gone. It says aged 76 years.261

Children at home in 1880 census were Lottie, age 25; Charles, age 17; Edger (sic), age 15.
All the dates shift by a few years from the David Peck listing.24

In 1850, living among all the other Pecks in Wilmington, listed as a laborer, no property listed. With him were Maria, Cornelius, Catherine, Ruth, Mary, George Rowe (16, M, laborer), and Thankful Rackey (20, F). A Rowe showed up elsewhere in these Pecks, too.145

In 1870 Federal Census, he is living in Jay, next to Samuel Ripley, who in turn was next to Alvah Peck. He was a farmer; he lists no value to his estate, but his wife listed $200 in real estate and $300 in personal estate. He was 52, and had been born in New York. With him were his wife Maria (listed as blind), Charlott, James, Henrietta, Charles, Edgar and Frank.29

In 1892 NYS Census, he is listed right next to Alma Johnson, followed by Cornelius Peck. Reasonable to assume she moved in with him after Maria Kenada died. Cornelius Peck is a mystery to me.39

Misc. Notes
Ann Hewitt gave me this name as Mary Rezy Kenady. The Essex County Marriages at the Essex County GenWeb site list her as Mavid Kenady. Jos. Peck gives her as Maria Raisey.

Both Raisey and Kenada families appear in 1880 census, as well as the more recognized spelling of Kennedy. Irish would have prounounced it ken-a-day. It’s entirely possible or likely that Kenada was a previous marriage.

Headstone says Maria wife of Adoniram Peck d. 8-7-1891 Ae. 67 yrs.261 There are other Kennedys in the cemetery. She gave her age as 59 in the 1880 census, which would mean b. app. 1821.

In 1870, she was living in Jay with her husband Adoniram. She was 45, had real estate worth $200 and personal estate worth $300, and was listed as blind.29

I’m wondering if Lucretia could be her sister:
