Birthdate uncertain; Peck and Census differ with his headstone, but some of the other stones are pretty suspect, too.

In the 1900 census, he was living in Wilmington with his wife Jennie and children Bennie, Frank, Malvin, and Howard. He was born April 1865, age 35, and had been married 12 years. He was a farmer, could read and write, and owned his farm free of mortgage.10

Received in his father’s will: “Fourth, I give and bequeath to Edgar W. Peck of Wilmington, Essex Co., NY three hundred dollars ($300.) to be paid out of a certain promisory note (dated Feby 21st A.D. 1889 for Eight Hundred Dollars ($800.) said note given by James H. Peck of the above named place to Adoniram Peck.”289
